Workforce Planning & Analytics Specialist

This role will be focused on supporting enterprise-wide analytics and supporting the development of data-driven capabilities within the HR organization. The primary focus for the first 12-18 months will be on supporting meaningful analytics within the context of an HRIS optimization and implementation project. In other words, this role will help ensure that the right analytics for employees, managers, executives, and HR are embedded throughout SuccessFactors, as well as providing for immediate needs. As the system stabilizes, more focus will be placed on strategic workforce planning, including partnering with accounting, operations, and executive leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Project management for implementation, configuration, and upgrade projects related to reporting, analytics, and workforce planning, including Report Center and the Workforce Planning & Analytics module
  • Provide support for enterprise analytics, including partnerships with business intelligence group
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and other analytical tools for HR and the enterprise
  • Maintain support documentation related to reporting and analytics processes and modules
  • Participate in and provide support for both operational and strategic workforce planning processes
  • Influence SuccessFactors roadmap through online community involvement and thorough business analysis
  • Review quarterly releases and other system changes; study and prepare for impact
  • Ensure role-based permissions are aligned with HR security philosophies
  • Act as a reporting & analytics consultant with functional partners as needed
  • Analyze business processes and consult business partners on system capabilities
  • Ensure holistic data reliability through partnerships with other HRIS team members
  • Log tickets as needed with IT and SuccessFactors

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Solid educational background in mathematics or equivalent experience, including algebra and statistics
  • 2+ years of heavy analytical job experience preferred
  • 1-2+ years working in SAP ECC or SuccessFactors strongly preferred
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Workforce Planning & Analytics strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with basic accounting and finance principles; in-depth knowledge preferred
  • Basic understanding of data modeling and database management principles
  • In-depth knowledge of HR and talent processes
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Expertise in Excel; basic VBA and Tableau experience helpful
