CDL Drivers Needed!

Job Description


  • 2 (two) years experience working as a Class A Truck Driver with Water Tanker, Side Dump, and/or Belly Dump.
  • Understand and apply DOT regulations
  • Valid CDL (driver’s license) and medical card with clean driving record
  • Drug & alcohol free and able to pass the mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol test and all randoms required by the DOT
  • Working knowledge of the operation of the truck and trailers (belly, side and end dump) that the company uses in its daily operations.
  • Cell phone that can reach you at all times, day or night
  • Availability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to
    • work safely in all types of weather, especially ND winters
    • clean material out from box or trailer with shovel
    • lift hood, check oil and coolant levels and all other inspection functions daily
    • crawl under truck for inspection and greasing as required

Applicant must:

  • have experience driving and operating a side/belly dump and/or water tanker hauling clean and dirty water. Also a basic working knowledge of construction projects
  • have a full understanding of the operation of the trucks and trailers
  • be able to pass pre-employment drug, alcohol and background checks
  • be able to operate the equipment in a safe and productive manner including, but not limited to:
    • Always wearing the safety belt
    • Adhere to DOT regulations
    • Receive and follow directions from immediate supervisor in a professional manner
    • Perform daily maintenance requirements on the equipment as required
    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections, filling out forms daily and submitting them to the dispatcher
    • Be prepared for all weather conditions (proper clothing, gloves, etc.)
    • Strive to avoid situations where the truck may get stuck or damaged
    • Load truck with loader as required
    • Accurately complete haul tickets with correct job numbers, lease names, load times, unload times, miles traveled, drive time, wait time, material quantities and other information as required
    • Complete daily logs and submit them to the dispatcher or office each day
    • Report maintenance problems with each use until fixed
    • Keep the inside of the truck clean
